Intent: To have a Godly, Christ-centered, family friendly Church that pleases and honors the LORD. Romans 12:9 says: “Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good`’’. The Lord Jesus Christ said in Matthew 16:24 ,25: “…If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it : and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.” 1.Bible texts and versions. All ministries, materials, signs, banners, etc. supported and used by the Church shall use only the traditional King James Bible. II Tim.3:16,17; Prov.30:5,6; Ps.12:6,7; Rev.22:18,19. 2.Soul-winning and visitation. All Church officers, workers, Sunday School teachers, and staff members, will be faithful to soul-winning and visitation. Matt.4:19; 28:18-20. Jesus` last command, our FIRST priority! House to house and street preaching are God’s primary methods of soulwinning. Acts 20:17-21 3.Music. The Psalms, Hymns, and spiritual songs of the faith shall be used. Eph. 5:19. Any music with a protruding beat is unacceptable and unscriptural and therefore shall not be used. The melody is to be predominate , not the beat. See also Rom.12:1,2. We are not to mimic the world`s style of music. 4.Appearance and apparel. We are not to follow after the fads and fashions of this world. Rom. 12: 1,2; II Cor. 6: 17, 18; I Pt. 1:14-16; I Jn. 2:15-17.
A.No shorts. Isa. 47: 1-3; I Tim. 2:9, 10; Rev. 1:13. The Lord Jesus wore a garment down to the foot. He is our standard! B.No breeches (ie. Pants) on women. Deut. 22:5. Every time the word breeches appears in the Scripture, it is in reference to a man. (See also the sign on the restroom doors. This is universally accepted around the world.) C.To show respect for the LORD, His Word, and the Church of the Living God, all men and older boys shall wear a shirt and tie to church services, other than camp. We are to give our best and look our best for the Master! Heb. 12:28, 29. D.Girls and ladies dresses shall be well below the knee, the longer, the better. I Tim. 2:9, 10 – the word for apparel means long robe. Rev. 1:13 – The Lord Jesus wore a garment down to the foot. He is our standard! Neck-lines will be no lower than the width of three fingers below the neck. Clothing should not be form fitting or see through. We do not want to be a stumbling block. E.No earrings, nose rings, piercings, tattoos. Gen. 35:1-4, I Tim. 2:9; Lev. 19:28. If you have tattoos, cover them up, or get them surgically removed. For a deeper discussion of this, read the article: “Lest we let things slip.”
5.Holidays. See tract: “Holidays: Christian or Pagan?” Those mentioned therein will be ignored. Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls…” Jeremiah 6:16
